San Bruno, California – This is a 23 year old male who presents to the San Francisco, California office for evaluation of his adolescent gynecomastia. He does not take off his shirt in public due to embarrassment and shyness and his goal is to obtain a flat chest. He is 5 feet 8 inches, 210 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 155 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 151 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. He had liposuction of his axilla as well as his chest. He had 750 cc. of fat removed from each armpit area and then was turned flat and had additionally 300 cc. removed from his right chest and 400 cc. from his left chest. He had an uneventful post operative recovery. His photographs are seen at four months after surgery.

He underwent glandular excision and suction-assisted lipectomy of his chest, from which I excised 44 grams of glandular tissue from the right and 48 grams from the left. His goal was to have “less chest protrusion.” This is a early post-operative photo and bruising is still present.

I also excised a total of 40 grams of glandular tissues from the right and 51 grams from the left. His goal was to achieve “practical expectations.”

16 year old with adolescent gynecomastia who suffers from serious emotional and social issues due to his physical presentation. He underwent suction assisted liposuction with glandular excision. It is important to note that no skin was removed, but the resulting skin contraction is tremendous. He could benefit from a slight lift on the right side to secure the best possible result.

He has had gynecomastia from a very young age and his desire is to have a flatter and more masculine chest. He underwent gynecomastia breast gland excision and liposuction and removal of 25 grams of tissue from his right chest and 28 grams of tissue from his left side. In addition he had removed 200 cc of fat from his left side and 275 cc from his right side withliposuction. His photographs are seen 8 months after surgery. Of note, he was interested in having the gland removed completely and therefore we did total gland excision and fat flap closure to alleviate a crater deformity.

In addition he had approximately 275 cc of fat aspirated from each of side his chest. The patient is seen 7 months after surgery. His complaint is the puffy nipples, which causes him severe embarrassment. He underwent gland excision and suction-assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He underwent excision of 5 centimeters of tissue from his right side and 5 centimeters from his left. In addition, he had 125 cc of fat extracted from his right side and 150 from his left.
