HISTORY: This is a 16-year-old resident of Dublin, California who presents to the San Francisco office for evaluation of gynecomastia. He is a student and presents with his parents with complaints of increased male breast size. He has adolescent gynecomastia. He’s had a weight loss from 240 to 220 pounds. He never takes off his shirt in public due to feeling uncomfortable. His goal is to become more self-confident and improve his appearance. He underwent gland excision and chest liposuction aspirating approximately 300 cc of fat from each side. He also underwent excision of 120 grams of breast tissue from his right side and 101 grams of breast tissue from his left. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. His photographs were taken 5 months after surgery.

This 32-year-old man is 5’10” and 270lbs. He developed gynecomastia during adolescence, and was never able to expose his chest due to anxiety. He underwent glandular excision and suction-assisted lipectomy, from which I extracted a total of 1500cc of fat. His goal was “to get rid of my anxiety and self-esteem problems caused by this condition.”

Yuba City, California – This is a 28 year old male who presents with steroid induced gynecomastia and presents to the San Francisco office for gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy. He had steroid use three or four years ago in which he has had various cycles since about 2005. His weight increased from 170 to about 212 pounds. His goal is to have his chest more flat. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 212 pounds. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 78 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 52 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. In addition he had 550 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his right chest and 600 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his left chest. He underwent a gland excision and suction-assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in which he had 19 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 27 grams of tissue removed from his left chest. Also, he had 725 cc of fat and aspirate removed from each of his right and left axilla. His photographs are seen three months after surgery.
