Note he is still healing with underlying scar tissue present. The area will smooth out and relax in a few month.

He underwent glandular excision and suction-assisted lipectomy, from which I removed a total of 1900cc of fat bilaterally, as well as 60 grams of glandular tissues from the right side of the chest and 58 grams from the left.

This is a 33-year-old resident of Fairfield, California who presented to the Novato office in Marin County for evaluation for revisional gynecomastia surgery. He is 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 175 pounds. He initially had his gynecomastia surgery in 1995, but was not completely happy with the outcome. The condition has been present since he was 12 years old and, therefore, this is adolescent gynecomastia. He underwent gland excision and suction-assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 4 centimeters of glandular material removed from the right side and 5 centimeters removed from his left side. Note the improved contour of his chest.

He has had enlarged chest size since about 12 years old. He has suffered significant psychological issues. He does not take off his shirt in public and his goal to have a “flatter chest and to able to do more things and not be self-conscious”. He underwent gland excision and chest liposuction with extraction of about 275 cc of fat from each side. There were a total of 25 grams of tissue removed from his right breast and 21 grams of tissue removed from his left breast. His procedure was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. His photographs were taken approximately 3 months after surgery.
