HISTORY: This is a 16-year-old resident of Dublin, California who presents to the San Francisco office for evaluation of gynecomastia. He is a student and presents with his parents with complaints of increased male breast size. He has adolescent gynecomastia. He’s had a weight loss from 240 to 220 pounds. He never takes off his shirt in public due to feeling uncomfortable. His goal is to become more self-confident and improve his appearance. He underwent gland excision and chest liposuction aspirating approximately 300 cc of fat from each side. He also underwent excision of 120 grams of breast tissue from his right side and 101 grams of breast tissue from his left. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. His photographs were taken 5 months after surgery.
