Patient 6354

This is a 19-year-old male from Madera, California, who presents for evaluation for adolescent gynecomastia. He underwent gland excision and suction-assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 70 grams of tissue removed from his right side and 61 grams of tissue removed from his left side. His postoperative photographs are seen at approximately four months after surgery.

Patient 1996

This is a 44-year-old male from Stateline, Nevada, who presents for evaluation of gynecomastia. He underwent gland excision and liposuction of his chest. He had approximately 350 cc of fat and aspirate removed from each side in addition to 16 grams of tissue removed from his right chest and 18 grams removed from his left chest. His photographs are seen approximately two months after surgery.

Patient 5985

This is a 36-year-old male from Vacaville, California, who developed adolescent gynecomastia and was also possibly enhanced by steroid usage for body building. He had gynecomastia surgery in 2001 and 2009. He presents to my office in San Francisco, California, for evaluation and treatment for revision gynecomastia surgery. He underwent gland excision and liposuction at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in which he had 8 grams of tissue removed from his right and 5 grams of tissue removed from his left side. His postoperative photographs are seen at three months after surgery.

Patient 8751

This is a 26-year-old male from San Francisco, California, who lost about 80 pounds and he presents for gynecomastia grade 4 with laxity of tissue. He presents for a two stage procedure. His first stage is excision of glandular and fatty tissue and his second stage is a periareolar lift. He was seen postoperatively after the entire procedure was performed over a period of approximately a year. His photographs are seen approximately a year and a half after surgery. The patients with skin laxity are some of the most complex surgeries in gynecomastia treatment. His overall goal was to try to achieve minimal incisions externally and to achieve a flatter chest.

Patient 6331

This is a 24-year-old male from Suisun City, California, who presents for revision gynecomastia surgery. He had surgery performed in the Armed Forces in the past and has not been pleased with his outcome. He had also taken steroids in the past for body enhancement. He underwent gland excision and suction-assisted lipectomy at Marin County California at the Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center. He had 53 grams of tissue removed from his right chest and 45 grams of tissue removed from his left chest. His photographs are seen at three months after surgery.
