Berkley, California – This is a 26 year old male who presents with adolescent gynecomastia to the San Francisco office for gland excision and liposuction for gynecomastia treatment. He has had this since adolescent years. Due to extreme embarrassment, he has decided to have surgery. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 245 pounds. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 50 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 77 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. He had 250 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from each side of his chest. Rohnert Park, California – This is a 24 year old male who presented to the Novato, California office for evaluation of his gynecomastia. He had breast enlargement since adolescence as well as having weight fluctuations as high as 300 pounds. His goal is to have a normal looking chest and to be able to wear tank tops and tight fitting shirts. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 255 pounds. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 107 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 101 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. In addition he had 750 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from both his right and left chest. He had an uneventful post op recovery. He underwent one steroid injection on his left side. He has had gynecomastia surgery in 2003 on the right side only and in 2012 he had surgery on his left side. Since that time he has been on and off steroid therapy. His goal is to have a better contour of his chest. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 30 grams of breast tissue and scar removed from his right chest and 47 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. He had a small amount of liposuction of 150 cc. on his left side and 125 cc. of fat and aspirate from his right side. His post op course was uncomplicated. His photographs are seen approximately two months after surgery.

It became more obvious in his early 20’s and may have been due to some steroid use or marijuana use. His goal is to obtain removal of the fat that makes his nipples appear extremely large and to flatten his chest. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He had his surgery performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 10 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 10 grams of tissue removed from his left chest. He also had a small amount of liposuction performed. He had the pull-through procedure performed through a small incision with all gland removed and fat flaps rotated superior and inferior for a nice smooth contour. He had an uneventful post op course. His photographs are seen approximately four months after surgery.

He had steroid use three or four years ago in which he has had various cycles since about 2005. His weight increased from 170 to about 212 pounds. His goal is to have his chest more flat. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 212 pounds. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 78 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 52 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. In addition he had 550 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his right chest and 600 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his left chest. His post op course was uncomplicated except for a few steroid shots for scarring. His photographs are seen approximately 9 months after surgery.
