Oakland, California – This is a 33 year old male who presents with adolescent gynecomastia to the San Francisco office for evaluation. He is 5 feet 10 inches, 170 pounds. He underwent gland excision and liposuction at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had removal of 58 grams of breast tissue from his right side and 36 grams of breast tissue from his left side. In addition he had 300-400 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from each side of his chest. His post op course was uncomplicated. His photographs are seen three months after surgery.

Mill Valley, California – This is a 43 year old male who presents to the Novato, California office for evaluation of his adolescent gynecomastia. He noted increased prominence in his chest since about 14 years old and it has been persistent all his life. His goal is to just obtain a flat chest so that he can be comfortable without his shirt. He is 5 feet 11 inches, 196 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 72 grams of breast tissue removed from his right side and 31 grams of breast tissue removed from his left side. In addition to this he had 350 cc. of fat and aspirate removed from his left chest and 425 cc. from his right chest. He had an uncomplicated post operative course except he had some steroid injection for softening up his scar on his left side. His photographs are taken two months after surgery.

San Francisco, California – This is a 30 year old male who presents after massive weight loss, going from 316 pounds down to 230 pounds. Even though his chest has reduced in size due to the loss of fat content, he still has fullness in both sides of his chest; his right greater than his left and has laxity of his skin. He does not take off his shirt in public due to embarrassment and he wants to feel secure enough to be with the opposite sex as well as doing simple things such as going to the beach or pool. He is 6 feet 2 inches, 226 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy as well as a superior crescent lift to lift the nipple-areola complex to try and remove the lower fold primarily on the right, which is greater than the left. He underwent his surgery at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 179 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 84 grams of tissue removed from his left chest. In addition to this he had liposuction of the axilla as well, due to the fullness around the armpit region. He had approximately 1200 cc. of fat removed from each armpit area, in addition to 650 cc. aspirated from his right chest, and 550 cc. of fat extracted from his left chest. He had an uneventful post operative course. His pictures are seen approximately two months after surgery.

Santa Rosa, California – This is a 30 year old male who presents with steroid induced gynecomastia from taking hormones over a two month period of time. He presents to the Novato, California office location for evaluation and treatment. He is 5 feet 6 inches, 150 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy of his chest. He had approximately 125 cc. of fat aspirated from both sides of his chest. Post operatively approximately a month and a half after surgery he had some touch up liposuction and small revision surgery on his left side. His photographs are seen approximately three months after surgery.

He does not take off his shirt in public due to embarrassment and shyness and his goal is to obtain a flat chest. He is 5 feet 8 inches, 210 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 155 grams of breast tissue removed from his right chest and 151 grams of breast tissue removed from his left chest. He had liposuction of his axilla as well as his chest. He had 750 cc. of fat removed from each armpit area and then was turned flat and had additionally 300 cc. removed from his right chest and 400 cc. from his left chest. He had an uneventful post operative recovery. His photographs are seen at four months after surgery.
