San Jose, California – This is a 37 year old male who presents with adolescent gynecomastia to the San Francisco, California office for male breast reduction with gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy of his chest and the axilla or arm pit area. He is 6 feet 1 inch, 213 pounds. He lost approximately 50 pounds. He underwent surgery at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. He had 40 grams removed from his right chest and 45 grams removed from his left chest. His photographs are seen about six weeks after surgery.

Santa Rosa, California – This is a 22 year old male who presents to the Novato office for treatment of adolescent gynecomastia. His primary complaint is puffy nipples. He has had previous male breast reduction surgery approximately three years ago and is not happy with the outcome. He underwent revision gynecomastia surgery with gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy at the Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 11 grams removed from his right side and 8 grams removed from his left chest. In addition we placed Marcaine and a small amount of Kenalog in the pocket for irrigation due to previous scarring. He developed a small area on his right side of a small amount of fluid collection which was aspirated twice and then resolved spontaneously. His photographs are taken six weeks after surgery.

He is 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 190 pounds. He took approximately two cycles of steroid treatment and developed enlarged glandular tissue that has become painful. His goal is to have a flatter and a more masculine appearance. He underwent gland excision and liposuction of his chest. He had 52 grams removed from his right breast and 90 grams removed from his left breast. He had approximately 135 cc. of fat aspirated from each side of the chest. His post op course was uneventful other than having some steroid injections for some firmness in various locations. His photographs are taken approximately three months after surgery.
