Berkeley, California: This is a 24-year-old man who presents with gynecomastia and presents for the gynecomastia light or the pull through technique for a minimally invasive gynecomastia surgery. He has had his gynecomastia since the 8th grade. He rarely takes off his shirt in public but he feels very awkward and unnatural. His goal is to have a masculine sculpted chest and to look athletic. He is 6’4″, 184 pounds. He underwent breast gland excision and liposuction through the minimal invasive pull through technique. He had 3 grams of tissue removed from his right side and about 150 cc of fat. From his left side 4.7 grams and 100 cc of fat. His photographs are seen about one month after surgery. Gilroy, California – This is a 22 year old resident of Gilroy, California who presents to the San Francisco office for unilateral right gynecomastia. He has had this condition since adolescence. He presents to Dr Delgado’s San Francisco office for evaluation and surgical treatment. His primary goal is to have a flat chest. He has had some hormone testing in the past which has been normal. He has a history of smoking marijuana but this has not changed the appearance of the chest. He underwent a right unilateral gland excision with suction assisted lipectomy with excision of 13 X 7 X 5 cm. segment of tissue. He had an uneventful recovery and has photographs seen at about four weeks after surgery

Richmond, California – This is a 30 year old male who presents with adolescent gynecomastia and treatment with male breast reduction surgery. Due to the complexity of his case, it was suggested that he would probably require a secondary procedure which involved a periareolar lift for a more optimal outcome due to the laxity of his chest skin. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center, followed by a Stage II periareolar lift for skin tightening. In the initial surgery he had 42 grams removed from his right side and 37 grams removed from his left side. His photographs are seen approximately 7 months after the initial surgery. His initial surgery was complicated by having a left chest hematoma which was evacuated the following day.
