HISTORY: This is a 39-year-old resident of San Francisco, California who presents to the San Francisco for evaluation of his gynecomastia. He has had enlarged chest for many years. In addition he has lost about 40 pounds. He has taken Propecia in the past but states that the Propecia has not caused his gynecomastia. He does not take off his shirt in public due to extreme embarrassment. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy with 250 cc of fat excised from each side. He had 24 grams removed from his right breast and 30 grams removed from his left. His procedure was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. HISTORY: This is a 33-year-old resident of Santa Rosa, California who presents to the Novato office in Marin County, California for evaluation of his gynecomastia. He has a severe Tanner III to Tanner IV gynecomastia. He complains of having very large pendulous breast that have gotten worse over the years. He weighs approximately 230 pounds and his chest has become quite large. He presents with adolescent gynecomastia. He never takes off his shirt due to the severity and embarrassment of his chest. His goal is to be able to wear a t-shirt. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy with liposuction of the axilla. We extracted 400 cc from each chest and about 600 cc from the axilla or armpit. His surgery was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. He had 108 grams of tissue removed from his right side and 97 grams of breast tissue removed from his left. His photographs were taken 4 months after surgery.

He has adolescent gynecomastia that developed from approximately 12 to 13 years old. He does not take off his shirt and found information on gynecomastia on a TV show. This sparked his interest to pursue a surgical solution. His goal is to have a more natural looking chest. He underwent breast gland excision and chest liposuction with 150 cc of fat extracted from each chest. This was followed by excision of 18 grams of breast tissue from his right chest and 21 grams of tissue from his left breast. It has not fluctuated with his weight loss or gain. He does not take off his shirt due to embarrassment and his goal is to be able to wear t-shirt and go shirtless at the beach. He is 6’3″, 240 pounds. He underwent gland excision and suction assisted lipectomy and liposuction of the axilla at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. We extracted approximately 800 cc of fat from each axilla and 550 cc from each chest. We excised 59 grams of breast tissue from his right chest and 92 grams of tissue removed from his left chest.
