Dr. Khalifeh trained and taught  at the top rated Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in  Plastic Surgery Program, consistently ranked as the number one hospital by U.S. News and world report.  He then became Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Cosmetic Surgery Education Program at Johns Hopkins University (2007-2009) in the  department of plastic surgery at the Johns Hopkins University.   He is a noted speaker and an author of several research papers and book chapters in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is the recipient of numerous scientific honors and distinctions, including the Top Spear Award and Alpha Omega Alpha distictions at Vanderbilt University, top inservice award at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Khalifeh spent his undergraduate years in Philadelphia, where he attended the Prestigious University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude, the highest honor possible,  and earned the Phi Beta Kappa distinction.  His consistent earning of the highest honors possible at the some of the nation's most prestigious institutions is due to his nonending strive for excellence that continues today in his private boutique practice, making him one of the most highly sought after plastic surgeons in the D.C. area.

Dr. Khalifeh was raised in Maryland and returned to the area in 2000 to practice medicine after his studies.  He is married to Kate, who is a surgeon herself and whom he met during his long training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. They have one daughter, Zeina, and two dogs.  They live in Washington DC.
